China's foreign trade of goods jumped 9.9 percent year on year to 31.11 trillion yuan during the first nine months of the year, official data showed Monday. Exports rose 13.8 percent year on year to 17.67 trillion yuan, while imports increased 5.2 percent from a year ago to 13.44 trillion yuan, according to the General Administration of Customs.

追溯历史，我国货色贸易从零起步，百年间实现了规模从小到大，竞争力由弱到强的跃升。改革开放前，我国经济总体上处于相对封闭状态，货色进出口始终在较低水平徘徊。改革开放后，我国外贸管理系统编制改革不断深化，对外开放水平逐步提升，对外贸易迅速发展，并不断取得新打破。从2012年的24.4万亿元到2021年的39.1万亿元，十年间，我国货色贸易总额持续增加，国际市场份额也从2012年的10.4%提升到去年的13.5%，环球货色贸易第一大国的地位更加巩固。
今年前三季度，我国货色贸易进出口总值31.11万亿元，同比增长9.9%。
从贸易办法看，一样平常贸易进出口实现两位数增长、比重提升。前三季度，我国一样平常贸易进出口19.92万亿元，增长13.7%。从贸易伙伴看，东盟连续保持我国第一大贸易伙伴地位。前三季度，我国与东盟贸易总值为4.7万亿元，增长15.2%，占我国外贸总值的15.1%。值得一提的是，同期，我国与“一带一起”沿线国家经贸往来更为密切：合计进出口10.04万亿元，增长20.7%。从外贸主体看，民营企业进出口快速增长、比重提升。前三季度，民营企业进出口15.62万亿元，增长14.5%，占我国外贸总值的50.2，连续发挥外贸“主力军”浸染。数据还显示，机电产品和劳动密集型产品出口均实现较快增长。

China has a population of over 1.4 billion and a middle-income group of more than 400 million people. Our annual import in goods and services is valued at around US$2.5 trillion. All this offers an enormous market. Going forward, China will lay more emphasis on expanding import, and pursue balanced development of trade. China will open more demonstration zones for creative promotion of import trade, optimize the catalogue of retail imports via cross-border e-commerce, encourage the on-site processing of imported goods from trading between border residents, and increase imports from neighboring countries.
